Scaffolding is constructed from painted papers, fabrics, and thread, forming a paper quilt with irregular edges. The title reflects my interest in the unseen structures that support growth and making. Like a spine, scaffolding provides stability while work is underway—it holds, braces, and allows for change. The piece points toward possibility, suggesting a state of becoming rather than completion, and the promise and potential for something larger still taking shape.
