This work is composed of 49 sewn drawings set on painted squares reminiscent of a quilt. Unlike some of my grids, the background here is looser, leaning toward openness and vulnerability. I wanted my hand to remain visible—marks, seams, and irregularities becoming part of the whole. Together, the small parts gather like a collection of shells found along a shoreline: individual fragments, each with its own story, forming a larger composition that reflects memory, inheritance, and beauty in imperfection.
