The grid often organizes my work, holding small bundles that contain and protect what is inside. Here, that structure softens. The background becomes both container and atmosphere, and the bundles shift between being held and being released.
These small sewn forms read to me as fragments of language, poems or prayers, scattered across the surface. They move as if carried, loosened from structure and given to the wind.
What remains is a sense of accumulation and dispersal at once: memory gathering, memory slipping away. Through stitching and layering, I return to the act of repair, a way of making connection within something that cannot be fully contained.
