Forward Thinking brings together rust-dyed fabric, painted papers, and thread to explore lineage and renewal. Drawing on a family history of sewing, I approached the work as both homage and experiment—honoring inherited skills while allowing them to shift and expand. The stitched surface becomes a way of looking forward through what’s been handed down.
