Familial

These felt like notes on a family of sorts coming together. They include rust-dyed fabrics I made with my son after we collected old garden tines on a walk; sentimental old clothes and fabrics; parts of dishtowels used after meals with dear friends; handmade papers; pocket notes that accidentally went through the wash; and even an old capacitor (which sounds like something we could all use for waking up in the morning—the capacitor!).
Each one holds a tender place of its own while contributing to the larger gathering. I want these pieces to require intimacy—a close look. I hope they reward your attention.
